How an eSIM works (and how to install it in 2 minutes)

After buying an eSIM, you get an activation QR code. Installing it is quick and you don't need to swap your main SIM — the eSIM works as a second, data-only line for your destination.

Install on iPhone

• Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM.
• Choose "Use QR Code" and point the camera at the code.
• Confirm the installation and name the plan.
• Turn on Mobile Data and Roaming when you arrive at your destination.

Install on Android

• Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add eSIM.
• Scan the QR code and follow the steps.
• Set the eSIM as the data connection at your destination.

You can install the eSIM before traveling — data only starts counting when you connect to the network at your destination. That way you arrive with internet ready to use.
